Recently, I had the chance to dine at Rempapa in Singapore, a place that truly celebrates a fusion of flavors. Here’s my take on this culinary gem.

Starting with their “Small Plates,” the Ayam Pelencheng was a delightful beginning. The boneless chicken leg, marinated in fresh rempah and grilled, was flavorful and tender. The Penang Lor Bak, a crispy and savory minced pork dish wrapped in bean curd skin, was another hit, offering a lovely crunch with each bite.

The Hakka Fried Pork was a standout, perfectly marinated and exploding with flavors. For salad lovers, the Papaya and Mango Salad brought a refreshing mix of sweet and tangy, topped with peanut brittle for an extra crunch.
